The following types of chemical products and chemical compounds can be stored in facilities designed for that purpose by LDH Chemical Logistics:

Risks connected to storing chemical products:
Chemical storage tanks can be grouped into a variety of risk categories based on their level of danger. These range from high to low. For instance, if a liquid storage tank spills and contains benzene or methanol, the risk level is severe. A fire could start if the fluid reservoir leaks and instantly catches fire. However, if the fluid spills without igniting, it can move downstream and result in an incident where someone gets poisoned. Chemicals must be stored correctly to reduce dangers. Chemicals must be correctly labelled and stored in secure locations with enough ventilation. To lessen the chance of mishaps, they should also be housed separately. Chemicals should be divided both by kind and reactivity when being stored. Finally, they must be kept secure and only available to a select group of people. Hazards associated with chemical storage are connected to other occupational safety concerns. Chemicals that are combustible and that oxidise, for instance, might be harmful if improperly disposed of.
